Defense is asking about the DeBeers company, establishing that diamonds circulated outside of their broad control.  Further, the witness agrees that in diamond trading, many diamonds seep outside of trade channels through “leakage”, or corruption.

Defense is asking the witness about recent diamond discoveries in Liberia.
